Sitting here and thinking I haven't written anything in quite a long time, so i figured what better occasion to pick than something for my lovely couples and people on valentine's holiday. It's been a while since i have written anything pertained to the subject, so this is from me to you.

 Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.1 Corinthians 13:4-7

 Many people have what they call their own definition of love and to each person love means something different. To me i have my own interpretations, i have been where most people are so let see if i can shed some light on my thoughts.

 To love someone is nothing, to be loved by somebody is something and to feel the same love by that somebody that you love equates to everything. Love is half dream half reality. Problems usually arise when you fall in love with the dream and not the reality. But you find true love when you fall in love with both. I often say that I am in love with the thought but never has it occurred to me that I don't have love because I never have fallen in love with the reality of my thoughts. But at the same time I think that maybe God wants us to meet a few of the wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet that person we will know how to be grateful. All too often we are not grateful for the ones we have.

 Love is not sending you a gift, a letter, or whatever it may be because this week or today is valentine's. Love is saying i love you and i will be with you even when i dislike you with everything in me. Love is saying that today is wednesday I decided to send you these flowers just because I woke up and realized how beautiful you are. Love is giving somebody complete control over your heart to destroy you, but trusting them not to. Love is saying that I think about you constantly because you never left my mind, I missed you every second because even when you are with me I am still missing you. Love is saying that you are smiling for no reason and you realize that you were thinking about the one that you cherish.

 Throughout life we meet one person that is never like another, we can talk to them for hours at a time and never get bored, you could tell them everything and they will never judge you, this person is your best friend. Someday someone might come into your life and love you the way you've always wanted. If your someday was yesterday, learn from it, if your someday is tomorrow then hope for it. If your someday is right now then cherish every moment of the one that you are love with and never let it go.

 Love is a commitment, point blank. If you tell someone you love them it's because your committed to them, and entering into something where each person gives and each person takes, a balance of both. I think we misunderstand what love is because many of us haven't seen it. Just because you miss somebody doesnt mean you love them. I've missed alot of *ahem fools, and realized that wasn't love. I only missed them because I was by myself and they weren't around. Not because of love.
Love is saying "I can't live without you", not "I can see myself with you for the rest of my life." Love is seeing past a person's faults, whether they be past or present, physical or emotional. Love is taking the time out to listen to the other person. Love is celebrating with them when they're happy, and crying with them they're down. Love is taking the initiative to do what's right, whether or not they asked you to do this in the first place. Love is not the feeling you get when he calls, or how you feel when you see him. That is probably excitement, happiness, etc..Love is a set of virtues that you abide by. This is just my definition of love.

These are just my thoughts on the subject in itself. I know that everyone has a separate definition and if so share in the comments, I love hearing people comments, definitions whatever it may be... Hope you enjoy
